1. Who we are

This policy explains how Scapesome (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal information when you use scapesome.com and studio.scapesome.com. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

2. What we collect

Content you create: your tanks (size and what’s in them), versions, saved items, custom items, questions you ask, and any images you upload or generate.

Account information: if you sign in with Google, the account ID, email address, name and profile picture Google shares with us; if you sign in with an email code, your email address. We don’t use passwords.

Payment information: if you buy a plan or credits, Stripe processes the payment. We receive your billing email, country, and the plan and payment status, but never your full card number.

Usage and device information: a cookie that keeps you signed in or identifies your browser if you haven’t signed in, your settings (such as theme and units), basic records of which features you use, and standard server logs (IP address, browser type, time of request).

3. How we use it

To provide the Service: saving your tanks across devices, reviewing them, answering your questions and generating images.

To run your account and billing, prevent abuse, fix problems and improve the Service.

To send emails you need, such as sign-in codes and important account or billing notices. We don’t send marketing emails without your consent.

We don’t sell your personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or use your content to train AI models.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run Scapesome, and only as needed: cloud hosting and storage (Amazon Web Services), payments (Stripe), sign-in (Google, if you choose it), email delivery, and AI model providers that process the tank details and questions you send for a review, answer or image.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users or the Service.

5. Where it’s stored and how long we keep it

Your data is stored on servers in the United States. Service providers may process it in other countries, with appropriate safeguards.

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, your tanks, uploads and account data are permanently deleted. We keep payment records for as long as the law requires.

6. Your choices and rights

You can edit or delete your tanks at any time, and delete your account in Settings.

You can ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct or delete it, by contacting us. Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, UK or California), you may have further rights under local law, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.

7. Cookies

We use cookies that are needed for the Service to work, such as keeping you signed in and remembering your settings. If we add analytics cookies, we’ll update this policy and ask for consent where the law requires it.

8. Children

Scapesome isn’t intended for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. We’ll change the date above, and tell you if a change is significant.
